RAM Tough-Claw Phone Mount Review
RAM is one of the leading brands that design the best GPS and Motorcycle Phone Mounts. And the RAM Tough-Claw is one of the best. This is an X-grip mount, which provides a strong grip on your cell phone during traveling. This RAM mount has a four-leg stainless steel body to provide a strong grip and better visibility.
The RAM Tough-Claw mount doesn’t hide your smartphone in a bunch of pads. On the contrary, you can rotate its legs to set your smartphone at the required angle for maximum visibility.
Yes! Its 360-degree rotation is another great advantage of using this phone mount for your motorcycle. On top of that, the RAM Tough-Claw mount comes in two different sizes to choose from, such as Small X-Grip Holder and Large X-Grip Holder. Besides its high strength composite and stainless steel body, it has other quite unique features like rubber tips to avoid scratching and a rustproof capability. So, if you go on long rides quite frequently, then the RAM Tough-Claw mount would be a better option.
The only flaw I can see in this phone mount is its cost, which is quite high. But, trust me; what RAM is offering in this mount is very rare to see in any other mount. Plus, they are offering a stainless steel body, which is far better than plastic.
So, despite the cost, I think this phone mount deserves to be in the first position.
RAM Tough-Claw Phone Mount
️Pros: Universal X-Grip Cradle, Available in two sizes, 360 degree Rotation, Stainless Steel Body
Cons: Quite Costly
Tackform Enduro Phone Mount Review
This motorcycle phone mount is part of Tackform’s Endure Series, which is rock solid. If you ride on off-road more often or maybe on country roads, then this phone mount is perfect for GPS Navigation, a fitness-tracking app, and listening to music while riding.
The Tackform Enduro is an aluminum mount that can easily hold your existing smartphone and is capable of handling the future tech handheld devices as well. It comes with an aluminum clamp to strongly attach to the handlebar and provides a strong grip. All credit goes to the high strength industrial spring system that’s installed in this Enduro Series phone mount. No slings needed with this mount. It also offers 360-degree rotation with portrait and landscape viewing. It has an aluminum ball and socket joint, which allows for a perfect viewing angle.
Moreover, you don’t need to worry about the handset model with this Tackform Enduro motorcycle phone mount because it is compatible with most of the Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices and offers a 3.25-inch wide space to hold the device.
I believe this is the motorcycle phone mount that can compete with RAM’s premium-class phone mounts. In fact, the Tackform Enduro series is proving to be tough competition to the other premium mounts available on the market.
So, if you’ve bought a new smartphone or are already using an expensive phone, then I would recommend purchasing this phone mount to protect your phone even on the roughest terrains. Despite its cost, I still believe this is one hell of a phone mount that is worth of every single penny you spend.

RAM Quick-Grip Phone Mount Review
Another RAM product on our list is the Quick-Grip motorcycle phone mount. Compared to the Tough-Claw X-Grip, it features a completely different mounting mechanism. It might not look as sleek or be as simple to use, but it offers better reliability and higher adjustability. It will provide a secure fit for your smartphone no matter how fast you ride or how much your bike vibrates.
The mount has a minimalist utilitarian design with lots of smaller elements that are supposed to improve the safety. On the top and bottom of the unit, you will find a couple of spring-loaded adjustable supports that will act as main holders for your device. On the sides, the mount has some additional stoppers that will keep your phone in place and prevent it from moving sideways.
The regular version of the RAM Quick-Grip motorcycle phone mount is compatible with all mid-sized phones that are 4.75″-5.75″ in height and 2.19″-3.25″ in width. Additionally, there is also an XL version available, which you can use to mount larger phones.
The product comes with all the necessary mounting accessories included in the box. You will get a U-bolt base that can be fixed to your handlebars, and a B size RAM double socket arm. Other than that, there is also a heavy-duty mounting ball with a socket mechanism that is designed to connect the main unit with the arm.
To put the whole thing together and attach it to your motorcycle, all you have to do is loosen the central bolt and connect the arm with the mounting balls on each of its ends. The U-bolt base can then be easily attached to your handlebars by tightening two screws on the sides.
RAM Quick-Grip Phone Mount
️Pros: Heavy-Duty Construction, Secure Fit, High Adjustability, One-Handed Use
Cons: Not a Universal Fit
Rokform Magnetic Phone Mount Review
Now, I will show you a really unique motorcycle phone mount. The Rokform Magnetic phone mount is like no other product on our list. It has a stylish, low-profile design with a super-sleek finish that looks absolutely fantastic. It reminds me some kind of a futuristic tool from a science-fiction movie.
Keep in mind that you will have to buy a separate magnetic case to be able to use this mount. The phone itself cannot be connected on its own. Once you have the case, insert your phone into it and attach it to the main unit using the RokLock Twist Mount. This innovative magnetic mechanism will let you twist and lock the case into the mount with one simple movement.
The Rokform Magnetic phone mount is constructed from a military-grade aluminium, which makes it is extremely durable. It can withstand years of abuse and riding in off-road terrain during tough weather conditions. Not only will the mount keep your phone secure and prevent it from falling, but it is also one of the most adjustable mounts on the market. You will be able to fully rotate the mount vertically around the handlebars and horizontally around the central hinge. On top of that, the main pivot unit can also be rotated by up to 55 degrees.
As you can see, the Rokform Magnetic phone mount is a real winner. It has all the important features you can think of, yet it is extremely compact and durable. Unfortunately, because of its very high price tag and the need of an external case, I cannot recommend it over the other mounts on top of our list.
Rokform Magnetic Phone Mount
️Pros: Stylish Design, Military-Grade Aluminium Construction, Extreme Durability, 360 degree Rotation,
Cons: Very Expensive, External Case Needed

Thanks to its spring-loaded mechanism, the Mob Armor Claw mount is super-easy to use, even with just one hand. The highly-adjustable tab will allow you to insert and remove any phone with ease. The claw grip has a fully-adjustable tension, which you can change by rotating the security screw. GUB Plus 6 Phone Mount Review
As we have already discussed the best premium motorcycle phone mounts, I am now going to show you some of the budget mounts.
A great example of an affordable high-quality motorcycle phone mount is the GUB Plus 6. For a price of around $25, you will get a compact phone mount that is made entirely of aluminium. The alloy construction is extremely durable and there is almost zero chance of it breaking during a ride. It will hold your phone extremely tightly and prevent it from moving. Additionally, there is also a sponge included that you can add for some extra grip.
Thanks to its simple design and adjustable width, the mount is compatible with most smartphones that are available on the market today. The width of the holder can be adjusted to fit all devices between 4 and 7 inches of screen size or 50 mm to 100 mm of width.
Compared to most other phone mounts, the GUB Plus 6 has one great advantage. It doesn’t have any parts that will cover the edges of your phone and obscure the screen. This makes it an ideal mount for modern smartphones with bezel-less screens. In addition, the mount can be fully rotated by up to 360-degrees. So, you will be able to adjust your phone in any angle and position.
The GUB Plus 6 is undoubtedly a fantastic motorcycle phone mount that not only looks good, but it is also very practical. You can attach it to any type of handlebars and it can be used on all kinds of motorcycles, dirt bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes and scooters. Unfortunately, there is one downside. Due to its lightweight construction, the phone mount doesn’t handle vibrations that well.
GUB Plus 6 Phone Mount
️Pros: Sleek & Compact Design, Aluminium Construction, 360 degree Rotation, Easy to Use
Cons: Vibration Issues
Arkon RoadVise Motorcycle Phone Mount Review
The Arkon RoadVise is a very simple motorcycle phone mount that doesn’t look that promising on paper. It might not have a fancy aluminium construction, nor does it come with any type of security tether included, but it surely deserves to be listed on the list and I will tell you why…
The main reason is the brand reputation. Arkon is a California-based company that has been in the business for a very long time and if there is any issue with their product, they will handle it. Their mounts are more expensive than competition, but you will get a 2-year warranty and a great customer support.
The Arkon RoadVise phone mount is constructed from a durable plastic and it feels really solid. The phone is secured in the mount using a spring-loaded mechanism that will grip the device from both sides. As I stated earlier, the mount doesn’t have any tether or silicon bands, but the grip is so strong that there is absolutely no need for it.
The Arkon RoadVise will fit handlebars measuring up to 33 mm in diameter and it is compatible with all phones up to 4 inches wide. There is no vertical limitation, so you can use it even for extra-large phones or phablets, as long as they are not wider than 4 inches.
Because there is no cover on the mount and your phone will be exposed to elements, Arkon recommends using a rugged case with your smartphone to prevent any potential damage to your device.
Arkon RoadVise Phone Mount
️Pros: Simple Design, Spring-Loaded Mechanism, 2-Year Warranty, Good Customer Support
Cons: Low Adjustability
Lamicall Holder Motorcycle Phone Mount Review
Another product on our list of best motorcycle phone mounts is the Lamicall Holder. It is an affordable phone mount that is suitable for motorcycles, dirt bikes, scooters, and ATVs, and it can be mounted on any machine with tubular handlebars. This phone mount is good enough for any phone or phablet with a length of up to 6.8 inches and thickness of up to 15 mm. You don’t need any extra tools to install this mount, except your fingers that can finish the job in a couple of minutes.
But not only that! You will have the usual 360-degree rotation with this phone mount, which provides complete freedom to rotate the mount at the desired angle for maximum visibility. The Lamicall Holder motorcycle phone mount is equipped with rubberized silicone pads in each corner that are specifically designed to securely grip your device and make it fit perfectly. That means you will have extra security and your mount will absorb any shock while riding without any harm to your device.
It’s as if Lamicall paid a lot of attention to detail in the manufacture of this phone mount mainly because of the design of the corner pads and heavy bar clamp, which is almost unbreakable and you can use this mount for years without any problem. This is, in my opinion, a great achievement, especially in this price range.
So, if you want to save some buck, then you should buy this motorcycle phone mount right away and install it on the handlebars of your motorcycle. You can then use it to navigate, receive calls, and listen to music without worrying about bumps and rough roads.
Lamicall Holder Phone Mount
️Pros: Heavy Duty Clamp, Shock Absorbing Rubberized Corner Pads, 360 degree Rotation, Good Value
Cons: Plastic Body
Roam Universal Premium Phone Mount Review
The Roam Co-Pilot Universal phone mount is really a universal motorcycle and bike phone mount that fits on most of the handlebars of motorcycles and bikes of small and large size. Moreover, this Roam Co-Pilot Universal phone mount has amazing compatibility. This means, whether you’re using the iPhone 6, 6s, 7, 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy’s S7, S7 Edge, Google Pixel, Pixel XL, or any other phone with a width of not more than 3.5 inches, it is compatible with this mount. Instead of the steel body, Roam has a solid plastic body, which is not just lightweight but also durable and very versatile.
The Roam Co-Pilot is better than any other mount in terms of quality and value. That’s why the Roam Co-Pilot has a Lifetime of Quality Policy.
This means you can’t find a more secure or sturdier mount than Roam’s Co-Pilot. Its hard plastic material and a silicon net securely mount your device to the handlebar. Plus, you can adjust the mount for the best viewing angle.
So, if you are a motorcyclist and really looking for a motorcycle phone mount that can secure your device on difficult roads and provide a tight grip on bumpy roads, then the Roam Co-Pilot Universal phone mount will be the best option for you. Especially, when it is available at a cheaper price.
The only drawback of this phone mount is, “It will not fit clip-on style handlebars.”
That’s it. The rest is best in class.

This means, it is not as durable as some other mounts on our list. However, considering its ultra-low price, it is still a good mount and you will certainly get what you paid for.
Aduro U-Grip Plus Phone Mount
️Pros: Universal Fit, 360 degree Rotation, Lifetime Warranty, Extremely Affordable
Cons: Plastic Body, Too Fragile
How to Choose the Right Phone Mount?
We all know that GPS technology plays a very important role in our day-to-day lives, especially in 2024. Those days are long gone when we have to stop on the roadside to ask for directions. Motorcycle GPS devices guide us everywhere. But, you can’t use this technology directly through your phone while riding your motorcycle. You need a GPS mount or phone mount to keep it secure while riding or driving. Plus, it is very convenient to have a phone mount while riding.
So, without wasting any more time, let’s take a look at the important things to consider before buying any random mount.
Phone Compatibility
Since we’re talking about motorcycle phone mounts, the very first thing to consider is the compatibility of the mount with your smartphone. Usually, phone mounts are compatible with more than one handheld device but it would be better to confirm that the motorcycle phone mount you are thinking to buy is compatible with your existing phone or not.
The motorcycle phone mounts that are available on the market are either universal mounts with adjustable features or phone mounts specific to phone brands and their models. So, either you can check the size, shape, and dimensions of your phone to choose the mount or check the Sizing Guide of the phone mount to learn more.
It is important to verify the dimensions of your smartphone with its case or cover, whichever you are currently using, to determine the overall size.
Handlebar Compatibility
This is another important factor to consider before choosing any phone mount for your motorcycle. The ideal location for placing a motorcycle phone mount is on the motorcycle handlebar. So, first, make sure that the phone mount is compatible with the handlebar of your motorcycle.
Is it adjustable to fit or not?
To be sure, first, check the diameter of your motorcycle/bike’s handlebar and then confirm the size in the Sizing Guide of the phone mount. It is the only way to ensure you don’t waste your money or time in purchasing the wrong mount.
Grip & Clamp Security
Next in the list is to check for the “grip type” and “how secure the mount is.”
The motorcycle phone mounts are available with different grips, like X-Grip, Finger Grip, and cases to tightly hold your phone in case of bumpy roads and other outdoor applications.
Note: Remember, the grip design matters in providing a strong grip to hold your phone.
A clamp is another factor in this list that is required to properly install the phone mount on the handlebar of your motorcycle. So, make sure to get the largest clamp or one that is compatible with your phone to securely mount the device to the handlebar.
Advanced Features
There are some features that should be available on your motorcycle phone mount. For example,
360 Degree Rotation
This is a feature that can be used to tilt the phone mount at any convenient angle for you to view. So, it is best if you give some attention to this 360-degree rotation feature while looking for phone mounts.
Other features include scratch protection, rust protection, and others.
How Much Does It Cost?
There are different types of motorcycle phone mounts on the market that are available in both a low and high price range. So, this is something you must decide on your own. Because, if you want absolute protection and maximum functionality, then the phone mount could be expensive. But, if you are using a smartphone that is very old and not worth paying for an expensive mount, then you can consider cheaper options.
Just remember, the phone mount you choose should have all the necessary features and must be compatible with your phone and the handlebar of your motorcycle, as well as providing a strong grip during your travels.
Final Conclusion
I am not sure if there is anything left to discuss because we have talked about everything related to motorcycle phone mounts and if you have gone through our top 10 best motorcycle phone mount reviews of 2024 and “How to Choose the Right One,” then you don’t need any additional tips to reach your goal. What are your thoughts on the Quad Mount? I was reading your review hoping to find some insight on it. Supposedly, they have an adapter that helps with vibrations that can destroy your phones cameras stabilization. Apparently, iOS users especially have had their phones destroyed after riding at high speeds for long periods of time. I don’t want to end up like anyone of those consumers. Anyone on this thread have some inputs on what they like?

What are your thoughts on the Bike Gripper? By Lawabidingbiker.com
Steve Shields says
I would suggest reading some of the many customer reviews and ratings regarding the Roam phone mount. It falls apart often. I had one of the spring-loaded grips fly off of the mount and was lost. A riding partner had the same experience and purchased a 2nd as a back-up. Obviously NOT a top 5 by any measure.
