As an insolent mercenary, Wade Wilson/Deadpool played by Ryan Reynolds is subjected to an experiment of regenerative mutation, which gave him amazing healing powers that turned his life upside down.
Tim Miller did an excellent job directing the Deadpool movie, which now has a special place in our hearts.

It means, if you are a real Deadpool fan, you will have to ride your motorcycle wearing the Deadpool motorcycle helmet. The Deadpool graphics deck of the HJC IS-17 model is already a very popular full-face street helmet. It features a matte red finish, a textured graphic, which replicates Deadpool’s suit with black eyes on the front, and the Deadpool logo on the back.

Shell Design & Protection Level
Graphics and design are not the only things you will see in HJC’s Deadpool Motorcycle Helmet. The truth is this Marvel helmet is only one of HJC’s full-face motorcycle helmets that meet both DOT and SNELL M2010 safety standards. It is one of HJC’s popular helmets that is made by using advanced CAD technology with a strong advanced polycarbonate shell. This strong shell of the HJC IS-17 is lightweight yet the strongest shell you can get in a helmet. Plus, the comfort level and the helmet fit are amazingly good.
The HJC Deadpool helmet has an impact-absorbing multi-density EPS liner.This EPS liner has varying densities of foam that enhance the impact absorption ability of the helmet and reduces severe head injuries during a crash.
Face Shield & Visor
If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I had sunglasses on right now,” the HJC IS-17 helmet is the one for you. Because HJC’s IS-17 Deadpool is a superhero helmet that has a centrally mounted slide on the top to keep the sun rays at bay. Not only that, there are many innovative technologies used in the design of the HJC IS-17 Deadpool motorcycle helmet. Let’s take a look at them one by one.
RapidFire II Shield Replacement System
The face shield and visibility of the HJC IS-17 Deadpool helmet is outstanding. It includes HJC’s advanced RapidFire 2 shield replacement system for the easy removal and installation of the shield.
The Optically Superior Anti-Scratch Pinlock Face Shield (HJ20M)has a 3D design that provides 95% UV protection and has an Anti-Scratch coating on it. Plus, it is fully ready to mount the anti-fog system. There is only one single issue here and that is the Pinlock EVO anti-fog resistant lens is sold separately.

One-Touch Integrated Smoke-Tinted Sun-shield (HJ-V7)
As we said earlier, you won’t need sunglasses while riding your motorcycle on hot, sunny days because the HJC IS-17 Deadpool helmet has a one-touch integrated smoke-tinted sun shield with a centrally mounted slide on top of the helmet, which is used to lower the tinted visor to keep harmful rays out. You can use this slide even with gloves on.
The face shield has a2-way closure system with a one-touch open and close shield locking for an extremely tight seal.
So, overall, we can say that face shield is very effective for providing certain benefits and the HJC IS-17 Deadpool helmet has a maximum range of vision so you can see everything around you when riding on the road or on the streets anywhere.
Ventilation System
The HJC IS-17 Deadpool motorcycle helmet provides an Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (AC-S),in which the full front-to-back airflow system helps to draw humidity and heat from the helmet. However, the top vents do not seem to be as effective as the chin vents of HJC’s IS-17 Deadpool Helmet. The major problem with the top vents is that the holes through the EPS liner aren’t perfectly lined up with the top vent holes in the shell. So, it doesn’t matter how much air passes through the top vents because the holes through the EPS liner are kind of blocked.
The same goes for the exhaust ports. So, the EPS liner may provide the ultimate impact absorption, but the holes aren’t lined up for effective ventilation.On the other hand, the chin vents are quite useful. The air that passes through the chin vents is directed towards the top of the chin bar and keeps the interior cool.
Interior & Comfort Level
HJC features the SuperCool Interior in the IS-17 Deadpool helmet, which is an antibacterial and moisture-wicking fabric that dissipates sweat two times faster than any ordinary fabric. Moreover, the cheek pads are removable, washable, and interchangeable in all sizes. These cheek pads are designed to provide a custom fit and keep you comfortable for many hours of riding.
In my opinion, the ventilation system, interior, and face shield have a perfect balance, which makes this helmet unique.
Noise Levels
The IS-17 Deadpool helmet is a very quiet helmet of this HJC series. But you must know that noise can be caused by many factors, such as the helmet size and fit, motorcycle type, speed, and riding gear, as well. So, make sure none of these factors interfere with you while riding. Otherwise, it could damage your hearing ability.
Nevertheless, the noise levels aren’t a big issue here. After all, the partially blocked EPS holes will block a lot of the noise that comes through the top vents
