Bell Rogue is a very interesting motorcycle helmet that can be hard to put into a specific category. Let’s just call it an open-face helmet. But with some optional accessories, that can be bought separately, we can quickly make it look and feel more like a full-face helmet. The first thing that will make you fall in love with this unique helmet is its cool, modern design.
Bell Rogue just looks amazing and it can go well together with any kind of motorcycle but especially, with a cruiser! It has that classic WW II soldier helmet design that was so common during the infamous 3rd Reich Era in Germany. Keep in mind, that it isn’t simply just a copy of that classic military design but more like an inspiration and a big improvement. It’s as if someone took the old-school helmet and added a comfortable interior and futuristic face mask to it. It reminds me of some of those crazy science-fiction movies, where the Nazis have won the 2nd World War and remained ruling the World during the 21st century.
Bell’s designers were very clever and knew exactly that many people were looking for such a simplistic style helmet. Bell motorcycle helmets are not only famous for the great looks but also for their safety standards and innovation. It’s a quality brand that we can always recommend and trust.
In this review of the Bell Rogue helmet we will talk about various specific features of this cool motorcycle helmet and the main focus will be given the Ghost Recon version of the graphic design.
Bell Rogue Motorcycle Helmet Review
Shell Design & Protection Level
The Bell Rogue’s lightweight shell is made from a highly durable fiberglass material that is DOT certified and it will protect you as well as any other premium motorcycle helmet out there. It has the look and the feel of a full-face helmet with the comfort of an open face or half-face helmet. There is plenty of space to include any type of glasses or goggles.
As previously stated, the Bell Rogue helmet can be used both as an open face and as a full-face helmet with a combination of an attachable face mask (muzzle). The purpose of the mask is to protect you from the elements. The muzzle will cover your face and protect it from any incoming particles and it can be removed if needed.
There are no vents around the shell, which makes the design more unified but it can pose a problem during hot summer weather. Having no holes or vents also means that the shell is stronger without compromising the weight, so the helmet is very lightweight but durable at the same time.
This all makes the Bell Rogue very safe and reliable for long rides. On top of that, Bell has a 5-year warranty for this helmet.
Face Mask (Muzzle)
The Bell Rogue motorcycle helmet comes with a detachable face mask, also called a muzzle. The mask can be attached using FidLock magnetic connections that will hold it in place really well and make it super easy to take it off whenever you want. It can be adjusted to many different positions thanks to a self-adjusting ratchet. The muzzle has a super-cool and aggressive look with a matte finish and vertical airflow vents on the sides.
Inside the muzzle, there’s a removable foam breath box that will be most helpful during the winter or when the weather is colder. Keep in mind that the muzzle is there mostly just for comfort and cosmetic purposes. It can protect you from wind, insects, or small rocks and dust, etc., but it won’t save you when crashing. You can interchange the mask designs, or create your own custom artwork to really make your helmet stand out and look exactly as you want.
Interior & Comfort Level
The helmet has a padded interior that can be removed and washed anytime you want. The padding around the top of the skull is very soft and comfortable. The comfort of the inner lining around the face could; however, be a little bit softer, as it can get slightly uncomfortable to wear this helmet after many hours of riding.
The helmet also offers integrated pockets for Bluetooth speakers, making it very easy to install your intercom device and listen to your favorite music or talk to your friends.
Keep in mind, that Bell Rogue is basically an open-face helmet, therefore the noise levels can be quite high when compared to full-face helmets. It is definitely not the quietest helmet out there.
Versions & Sizing
There are 3 different versions of the Bell Rogue helmet for sale:
- Honor Matte Titanium Black
- Camo Ghost Recon Matte
- Solid Matte Black

The Bell Rogue Helmet is one of the greatest motorcycle helmets ever made in its category and it has already become a legend among bikers. It has a very specific design, which will attract many eyes and make you stand out from others. The best thing about this helmet is its versatility and features. It can be easily turned into a Bluetooth helmet with its smart placement of speaker pockets and all parts can be easily detached and washed or changed.
What we didn’t really like is the comfort. After very long rides, it can be painful to wear the helmet, as the inner lining around the face is hard and can get very uncomfortable for some people. Other than that, it’s a brilliant helmet and it’s something completely different from almost everything else on the market.
